Draft policy — not legal advice

    AI Use Disclaimer

Important limitations on AI-generated content, automation, and third-party systems used in our work together.

Draft for review — not attorney-approved

This page is a working draft to support discussion with qualified legal counsel. It is not legal advice, has not been approved by an attorney, and may need changes for your entity, services, and location. Do not treat it as a final compliance document until counsel confirms it.

Fill in: [INSERT LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [INSERT PRINCIPAL BUSINESS ADDRESS], [INSERT GOVERNING LAW / JURISDICTION], and confirm the support email below.

Effective date (draft): [INSERT EFFECTIVE DATE] · [INSERT LEGAL ENTITY NAME] ("Live AI") provides AI-related consulting, training, and automation services that may involve third-party artificial intelligence systems, large language models, and related tools.

    1. Not professional advice

Unless we have expressly agreed in a separate written engagement with appropriate credentials, our services and AI outputs are not legal, medical, tax, accounting, or investment advice. You should consult licensed professionals for those matters.

    2. AI outputs require human review

AI systems can produce text, code, summaries, classifications, recommendations, or actions that appear plausible but are wrong, incomplete, biased, or outdated. You must apply meaningful human review and testing before relying on outputs for decisions affecting finances, safety, employment, compliance, customer relationships, or public communications.

    3. No warranty of accuracy or fitness

We do not warrant that AI outputs will be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose. Models and APIs change; training data may omit relevant facts; tools may hallucinate citations, figures, or capabilities.

    4. Consulting does not guarantee business results

Adoption of AI or automation does not guarantee revenue, savings, efficiency, regulatory compliance, or competitive advantage. Outcomes depend on your implementation, data, team behavior, vendors, and external factors.

    5. Sensitive data

Do not submit sensitive personal data, regulated health or financial data, government IDs, passwords, or highly confidential trade secrets to tools we operate or recommend unless you have assessed the risk, obtained any required consents, and put appropriate legal and technical safeguards in place (including, where needed, a written data processing agreement). If you are unsure, ask before sharing.

    6. Third-party models and subprocessors

AI features may transmit prompts, context, or file excerpts to vendors (for example, model hosts, cloud infrastructure, or automation platforms). Those vendors process data under their own terms, security practices, and locations. We select tools thoughtfully but do not control third-party systems and are not responsible for their outages, policy changes, or conduct beyond what law and our agreements with you permit.

    7. Automation risk

Automated workflows can misfire (duplicate sends, incorrect routing, unintended API calls). You should design monitoring, approvals, rate limits, and rollback procedures appropriate to your risk level.

    8. Intellectual property and third-party rights

AI outputs may inadvertently resemble third-party content. You are responsible for clearance, licensing, and ensuring your use does not infringe others' rights. We do not guarantee outputs are free of third-party claims.

    9. Changes

We may update this disclaimer as tools and regulations evolve. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised disclaimer to the extent permitted by law.
